How can I book a charter?

What are the payment terms for reservations?

We prioritize transparency in transactions and the comfort of our clients. Payment terms are determined according to the MYBA charter e-contract. To finalize the reservation of your chosen yacht, a 50% payment of the net charter fee is required upon signing the agreement. The next payment is due 30 days before the start of the charter, consisting of the remaining 50% of the charter fee, VAT tax determined by the charter location, and an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is described further in our responses.

Is it possible to cancel a reservation?

Our company understands that travel plans can change. However, the rules regarding the cancellation of reservations are clearly outlined in the MYBA contracts, which we encourage you to review before signing. If you decide to cancel, please inform our team as soon as possible, and we will seek a solution that satisfies both parties. The possibilities and conditions for canceling a charter depend on when this decision is made and reported to us. Our goal is to provide maximum flexibility for our clients and minimize inconveniences and costs associated with reservation cancellations.

Can reservation dates be changed?

Additionally, if you plan to operate additional watercraft on board, such as jet skis or a motorized pontoon, specific licenses and certifications may be required. To provide transparency for our clients, we clearly separate what the Charter fee covers and what additional costs should be expected. To the base charter price, you should add the VAT tax, which varies depending on the charter location. The final part of the charter cost includes expenses like fuel, food, beverages, and port fees, and this is known as the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). The APA typically ranges from 30% to 40% of the net charter fee. At the end of each charter, the yacht captain prepares a clear report on the utilization of the APA, and any unused funds are returned to the charterer. We aim to ensure our clients have full knowledge and awareness of all costs from the beginning.

Are there any hidden fees?

In our practice, we avoid hidden fees and aim to ensure full transparency regarding costs. All fees, both related to chartering and any additional costs, are clearly and thoroughly presented to our clients even before signing the charter agreement. What does APA mean?

APA is typically estimated at 30 to 40 percent of the base charter price and provides transparency and effective cost management beyond the standard charter fee for the convenience of the client. At the end of the charter, the client receives a clear settlement. It’s also worth noting that the extent of APA usage ultimately depends solely on the client’s preferences.

Is travel insurance available?

We are aware of the importance of ensuring safety during a charter trip. Therefore, we recommend all our clients to purchase travel insurance. This additional protection guarantees that in case of unforeseen circumstances or health issues, our clients are adequately covered.
