Delivered in 1930 by Dickie & Sons, OVER THE RAINBOW began her journey cruising the Scottish and UK coastlines. During World War II, she was commandeered by the Royal Navy as HMS Corax, serving as a coastal patroller. Her original mahogany panels still bear the marks of dart games played by officers in her dining room, a testament to her storied past.
After the war, she was renamed Lady Jeanetta and crossed the Atlantic before returning to the Mediterranean, where she briefly operated as a floating casino in Athens. In the late 1940s, she was renamed Ismini III and disappeared from public view for nearly 40 years. Rescued by an English yachting enthusiast in the 1990s, she entered the charter market as “The Classic” on the Côte d’Azur.
In the early 2000s, Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon lovingly restored her, preserving her historical charm and welcoming notable guests, including Churchill and Madonna. Her current owner acquired her in 2017, further enhancing her interiors, galley, and structure using traditional methods.
Today, OVER THE RAINBOW is in peak condition, blending timeless elegance with modern technology. With her beautiful design, state-of-the-art equipment, and passionate crew, she offers an exceptional charter experience.
