Cannes Yachting Festival 2024

The Vieux Port will primarily host the in-water display, featuring new launches from renowned superyacht builders like Benetti, Bluegame, Sanlorenzo, Axopar, Fairline and Riva. Yachts in this area range from 10 to 45 meters, with larger vessels often anchored nearby.

Port Canto is dedicated to brokerage boats, sailing yachts, and water toys. With significant renovations underway at Vieux Port, Port Canto will expand to include a new section for motor boats up to 12 meters in length.

Cannes Boat Show

The 2024 Cannes Boat Show will offer visitors the opportunity to explore sailing and motor yachts, multihulls, yacht tenders, and water toys. The Palais des Festivals will showcase the latest technological advancements, as well as products from interior suppliers and service companies.

The new section in Port Canto for motor boats under 12 meters will undoubtedly attract those seeking sports boats, weekend cruisers, or superyacht tenders and chase boats. An added benefit of this new location is the ability for smaller motor yachts to conduct sea trials without being restricted by bridge-opening times, as previously experienced in Vieux Port.

Cannes Yacht Exhibition

The Cannes Yachting Festival also serves as a tradeshow and yachting industry expo. Among the 55,000 boat show visitors are numerous yachting professionals from across the superyacht sector and leisure marine industry.

The Cannes yachting expo boasts a total of 5 kilometers of pontoon, accommodating new yachts, yachts for sale, and yachts for charter.

The show’s prime location on the French Riviera, with easy access from Nice airport and train connections to St. Tropez, Monaco, and Antibes, makes the Cannes Yachting Festival a preferred choice for both the yachting industry and yacht buyers alike.

One of the most exciting yacht debuts at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival

Among others, Sanlorenzo and Bluegame will unveil new models. The SP92 and SL86A will make their world debuts.

The SP92 sporty model is the second in the Italian shipyard’s new smart performance (SP) line, combines style and performance. Joining it will be the award-winning SP110, which recently won the Compasso d’Oro 2024 for its design, performance, and sustainability. Initial renderings reveal a split-level saloon, floor-to-ceiling glazing and a spacious owner’s suite arranged with a separate lounge and glass wardrobe. Accommodation is for up to eight guests and four crew, while other key numbers include 7.1-metre beam, a draught of 1.2 metres and a maximum speed of 40 knots.

The SL86A, part of Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetric range, offers increased interior volume and enhanced sea views through floor-to-ceiling windows by moving the port side deck up a level. The redesigned stern houses both a Williams tender and jetski. The SL96A and SL120A will also be on display.

As a brand of Sanlorenzo, Bluegame will present models from its BG, BGX, and BGM ranges.

Recently named in Robb Report’s Best of the Best 2024 for Innovation, the BGM75 offers a svelte profile without compromising space. It includes a full-beam main suite, optional guest cabins, a 27-foot wide beach club, and a large flybridge with 360-degree views. The BG42, BG54, and flagship BG74, designed for high performance and efficiency, will be on display. The BG74 combines flybridge yacht comfort with open boat outdoor spaces. The BGX range features large, multipurpose outdoor areas and a seamless interior-exterior flow. Either the BGX63 or BGX73 will be present, showcasing the range’s distinctiveness and quality.
